About this piece
Of the classical elements, earth is the hardest. However, there is no place where the power of earth is not met by water. The combination of these two elements is the foundation for all life on our planet. This photograph is a tribute to our shared home. And an eternal reminder of how small we humans are.
This photograph was taken on the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands, Suðuroy.
