About this piece
This photograph has been in the making for more than a year and a half. We have dreamed of capturing a photograph where the northern lights dance over the famous waterfall, Skógafoss. We wanted to combine this enchanting phenomenon with poetry that speaks about what truly matters. Life is a journey – and traveling with someone... that is almost life itself. The famous waterfall, Skógafoss, is slightly hidden from the busy main road. It has been for endless times. But the sound of the roaring waterfall is intoxicating when the stars twinkle in the sky, and the northern lights dance in rhythm. Phenomena that testify to something bigger... out there... up there... inside... behind. Something greater than ourselves.
