About this piece
Two gannets meet – their golden beaks touch in a movement reminiscent of a kiss. Love is gold. The only thing truly worth its weight in gold is the love we forge with our hearts. I have chosen to title the piece Dragonfly - The Goldsmith – a symbol of connection and transformation. The colors are carefully selected. The deep red background contrasts with the soft, white bodies. Their eyes shine in ocean blue, and the beaks are painted in metallic gold – a color that catches the light and reflects it back into the room like a glimpse of something noble. A piece for those who believe in transformation and love.
